Founded in 2017, Pay Direct Technology Sdn Bhd is payment gateway service provider based in Malaysia. Our main business model is to provide an automated and instantaneous payment collection experience for merchants.

Over the years, we have partnered with several banks and other acquirers and now have the ability to provide multiple payment channels ranging from FPX Online Banking, Credit/Debit Cards for both domestic and international, E-Wallets, Buy Now Pay Later and also Recurring Payments. With simple APIs, and attentive customer servicing, we are now able to serve 700+ merchants across Malaysia.

Our History

Pay Direct Technology its version of a local payment platform, known as QlicknPay. As time progresses and the need to find more creative solution to collect payments faster, Pay Direct signed Payment Service Agreements with partnering banks like OCBC, Maybank and Bank Islam.

In the year 2021, Pay Direct was acquired by ASEAN Fintech Group and have decided to rebrand their platform as Betterpay. By the year 2022, Pay Direct has successfully expanded to other neighbouring regions like Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines.

The Betterpay payment platform is now trusted by a wide range of global businesses ranging from online retailers, wholesalers, logistics, education, insurance, manufacturers to financial services.
